iPhone 13 Pro Max Cellular Settings

These screenshots from iPhone 13 Pro Max show the options available to manage the cellular settings on your iPhone. If you go to Settings -> Cellular, you can manage the below options.

  • Turn On or Off Cellular Data
  • Turn On or Off Personal Hotspot
  • Scroll down to enable cellular data for specific apps. You can also view the data usage for a specific app.
  • Enable Wi-Fi Assist to automatically use cellular data when the Wi-Fi connectivity is poor.
  • Turn On iColud Backup using cellular data when not connected to Wi-Fi
  • Check Call Time for a specific duration and reset these statistics.
  • Tap Cell Data Options to enable Data Roaming
  • Select Voice & Data Network. Choose the 5G options (5G On, 5G Auto).
  • Tap Data Mode to set the preference for 5G data usage. If the Allow More Data on 5G option is chosen, it prefers 5G over Wi-Fi for software updates, automatics iCloud backups and higher-quality media.
  • Select Limit IP Address Tracking to hide your IP address from known trackers in Mail and Safari.
  • Go to Settings -> Cellular -> Personal Hotspot to configure Hotspot options such as enabling others to join, setting Wi-Fi password and family sharing.
  • At Settings -> Cellular, there are options for the cellular service provider. You can enable Wi-Fi Calling and Calls on Other Devices. SIM PIN can be set from here. Tap Carrier Services to see the list of services for your carrier and how to access them. From this screen, you can also convert the physical SIM to eSIM and add a cellular plan.
