Snapchat's Shared Stories feature takes it a step further by allowing your friends to also add their friends and contacts to your Story, thereby creating a thread of Stories from the one you initially shared. The Shared Stories feature was announced in a Snapchat blog post in May 2022, which stated, “With this next generation Story, we’re hoping to help Snapchatters turn shared moments into shared memories”

The social media app is known to add features that improve the overall user experience. For instance, in February 2022, it finally listened to users and rolled out the ability to let you change your Snapchat username.

Who Can Contact Me: Choose who can contact you directly with Snaps, Chats, calls, etc.

Send Me Notifications: Choose to receive notifications from everyone or just your friends. Learn more about notifications settings for iOS and Android.

Who Can View My Story: Choose who can view your Story. Tap ‘Custom’ if you’d like to block specific friends from seeing your Story. If you are a Public Profile, you will have to go to your profile to adjust your My Story privacy settings.

Who Can See My Location: Choose who can view your location on the Snap Map. Your location won’t be shared on the Map until you open it for the first time.

Who Can Use My Cameos Selfie: Choose who can use your Cameos selfie in two-person Cameos.

Who Can See Me In Quick Add: Choose who can see you in Quick Add, a feature that appears around Snapchat which makes it easier to add friends.

Activity Indicator: Choose to let other Snapchatters see if you have been active on Snapchat recently.

You can change the hairstyle, eye color, body type, accessories, clothing, and all of the things that make your character distinct with the app. Animal ears, animal masks, and other animal-related accessories can be added to the faces of your cartoon characters. Your new selfie will be visible to all of your friends on Snap Maps after it has been uploaded.

If you disable the Bitmoji selfie, the Snapchat interface will look different. Snapchat has compiled a list of at least 100 outfits and outfit combinations. Most social media users care about their privacy and want it to be as secure as possible.

The ability to connect with people via Snapchat is great, but sometimes it might reach a point where everything isn't great anymore. The process of blocking someone on Snapchat takes you only a minute, and here is how to do it:

Previously, you'd have to guess the clip lengths required to sync with a specific audio track, and manually adjust your clips. Now, you can drop your own photos and/or videos into a template, and you're good to go. Reels Templates are only available for Reels with multiple clips that have been edited together within Instagram. If a video has been fully edited outside of the app, Instagram cannot identify the different time stamps for each clip.

Once you see a template you want to use, tap the three-dot menu icon. Next, hit “Save” to add the Reel to your collections and by default, its template. When you’re ready to use your chosen template, simply head back to your collections (located in the dropdown menu on your profile) to record your Reel.
