My Eyes Only is a special feature on Snapchat where you can hide your private snaps (photos and videos). As the name suggests, these snaps can be viewed only by you and no other person can see them. My Eyes Only is protected with a 4-digit passcode which you have to enter to unlock it and view your hidden snaps.

This feature is available in Memories on Snapchat. You can access it by swiping up from the camera screen and then going to My Eyes Only tab. There is an option to change and reset your passcode. In case if you forgot your passcode, you can reset it with your Snapchat password but this will permanently delete all your private photos and videos.

 

Available to all users since day one, a Snap is a picture or video that you send through the app to one or more of your friends. A video snap can be a maximum of 60 seconds long (known as a Long Snap). Keeping in line with the app’s original feature, Snapchat doesn’t hold onto any photo or video content, the platform deletes content after the recipient has viewed the Snap.

A Snapstreak (or Streak) tracks how many consecutive days you and a friend share Snaps. You’ll see a flame emoji next to your friend’s name, with a number indicating how many days you’ve kept the Streak going.

My Profile features your Snapchat info, like your Bitmoji, location on the Map, friend info, and more. It’s now easier than ever to manage your Story, as well as check out who’s viewed it. You can customize your 3D Bitmoji header by tapping it or pulling down on your Profile card. Share your customized pose and background to other platforms by tapping the share icon at the top of the screen.

Public Profiles enable Snapchatters ages 18 and older to become more discoverable and grow an audience on Snapchat. You have a Public Profile, but you can choose whether or not you use it. On top of increased visibility, a Public Profile grants access to tools like showcasing Stories, Lenses, Follower Count, and more. Use your Public Profile to express yourself to the wider Snapchat community.

After you create your avatar, you will have personalized stickers of your avatar to share with your friends in a direct message or add to your stories. You can edit your avatar from your profile at any time by tapping Edit Profile, then tapping Edit avatar.

You can delete your avatar in the avatar editor by tapping delete avatar, then tapping Delete. This action is permanent and cannot be reversed.

Write your own question and customize the type of answers. Select writing option to let people type a response to your question or tap on music to let people send you a song. Anyone who can see your story can tap the sticker and send you a response. To see who responded, swipe up on your own story. Tap a response from someone to share it. Their photo and username won't be shown.

Write your own question for a sticker that will show on your reel. People can respond to the sticker by tapping the Type something. Their responses will show as replies to the sticker where anyone who can see the reel can see the reply. If your account is public, people can also create reels that include your response.

If you're not seeing certain stickers on Instagram, make sure your app is updated to the latest version by visiting the App Store or Google Play Store. Keep in mind that not all stickers are available to everyone or available for reels.

You may need to convert to an Instagram professional account to link to a Facebook Page (if the Facebook Page is owned in Meta Business Manager).

Your personal Facebook account must have an Admin role on the Page you’d like to connect to. If the Page isn’t in the drop down on your Instagram profile, check your Page’s settings on Facebook to determine if you have an admin role.

The icon and the network name tell users exactly where they get when they follow the link. Besides, unlike a Facebook URL, they look neat. You have the opportunity to put 2 links to your Instagram bio. One of them you add as the Facebook icon. And another one you add in the External link field, which has remained free.

Authorizing apps – this is the most common way like login to Twitter or any other website/app using your Google account and Manually adding a user this is another way of providing access to one of the products. For example, you can add a user in your Google Analytics account for sharing analytics data.

If you have provided temporary access to a third-party app, it is necessary to remove the access after finishing the task. Likewise, you may also no longer needed the service or person to access your account. Fortunately, Google keeps all third-party access details in your account. Anytime you can check and remove their access to stop them from collecting your data.

When you turn on Quiet Mode, notifications will be paused, your profile's activity status will change to "Quiet Mode" and any DMs you receive will get an autoreply. Once the feature is turned off, you'll get a brief summary of notifications you missed.

Anyone who wants their contacts to know they've paused notifications can use Quiet Mode, though Meta has made it clear the feature is targeted at young users, who increasingly use Instagram as a messaging tool.
