  1. When you power on your TV for the first time, it will give you an option to select the installation method. Choose the "Mobile Device" option.
  2. To set up using an iPhone, first download the LG ThinQ app from the App Store. Open the app to continue with the TV set up. 
  3. When you first open the app, it’ll prompt to allow notifications from the connected product. It also shows the other features to manage your connected products. To proceed with the next steps, you have to agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
  4. You will have multiple options to sign into the LG ThinQ app. You can opt to sign in with services such as Google, Facebook, or Amazon. You can also register for a new account using your email. Once you verify your email, you can login to your newly created ThinQ account.
  5. When you first sign in, you can associate a phone number with your account for enhanced customer service, or you can skip this to do it later. In the next step, you can set a nickname to use in the ThinQ app.
  6. You are now ready to add and set up an LG device through LG ThinQ app. Tap add a device to add the LG TV to perform the initial set up.
  7. Allow the app to find and connect to the TV and to use Bluetooth. Tap on scan QR.  
  8. Allow the app to use your phone camera. Make sure your TV is plugged in and powered on and tap Next.
  9. Scan the QR code displayed on your TV using the phone camera. ThinQ app will search and show your TV to connect and continue with the set up. 
  10. Tap on the TV model. Enter the PIN number displayed on the TV and tap OK.
  11.  Enter your home Wi-Fi password and tap OK. Now, ThinQ App connects with your device and shares the information to continue with TV set up.
  12. Choose your language and time zone. Tap Next. Review and agree to the legal notice and user agreements.
  13. You can login to TV with your ThinQ account to take advantage of the enhanced features. You can also skip TV login for now and do it later.
  14. Enable the AI functions such as AI Picture Pro and AI Sound Pro to automatically optimize the picture and sound based on the content you watch on your TV
  15. Enable Home Auto Launch to display the recommended content on the Home screen when you turn on the TV. If the Always Ready is turned on, you can use the TV for various services even when it is not switched on.
  16. Tap Next to continue the remaining  set up directly on the TV using the remote controller on the ThinQ App. Using the controller, you can respond to the prompts on the TV to complete the set up. 
  17. Once the setup is completed, a confirmation message will be displayed on the TV, and it is now ready for you to enjoy watching.

If you want the Maps app to automatically save your parked location on your iPhone, you should have turned on the "Show Parked Location," "Location Services",  and "Significant Locations" settings.

After these settings are turned on,  iPhone will automatically save the recent parked location on the Maps app. Now, you can ask Siri to show the recently parked location of  your car.

To do so, invoke Siri by saying “Hey Siri” and then follow with the command. 

  •  "Hey Siri, where is my car?".

On an iPhone, you can access the ChatGPT interface only using Edge or other browsers.  
  1. To access ChatGPT on iPhone using Edge  browser, you have to install the Edge Browser App first.
  2. If you have not already installed the Edge App on your iPhone, go to the App Store and install the app.
  3. Once installed, launch the Edge browser and type platform.openai.com/playground into the address bar.
  4. To create a new account, click Sign up and enter an email address and password. 
  5. Once you verify the account, you can log in to your account. 
  6. If you already have an OpenAI account, login to access ChatGPT. You can also use your Google or Microsoft Account to log in. 
  7. Once logged in, you can choose your playground and ask questions using ChatGPT. 
  8. For easy access, add the ChatGPT interface page to favorites on Edge.
  9. If you want to access this favorite from any device  using Edge  browser, login to Edge using your Microsoft account and then add it as a favorite. 
  10. Once added to favorites you can access ChatGPT interface anytime from the Edge browser on iPhone, or any other devices.
