If you wanted to add a new phone into their network it could get confusing. Also if you are in a family plan, you need to be an authorized user otherwise the plan leader has to be present to deal with any issue by himself/herself.

We have been AT&T customers for years. It is not the best or the worst you can find in the market; it just gets its job done. The signal sometimes can get really poor in a building. And their plan is not appealing if you are not a new customer.
