When you switch to a business account on Instagram, you'll be asked if you'd like to connect a Facebook Page. While it's not required, it is recommended to connect your business Facebook Page with Instagram to get the most out of Instagram's business tools.
You may need to convert to an Instagram professional account to link to a Facebook Page (if the Facebook Page is owned in Meta Business Manager).
Your personal Facebook account must have an Admin role on the Page you’d like to connect to. If the Page isn’t in the drop down on your Instagram profile, check your Page’s settings on Facebook to determine if you have an admin role.
