Taking out time for living the life we are slaving to make better is a lost concept for a wide range of people. If at all it is followed, most people just pause all activities and do almost nothing; or their activities are some more stress seeking chores. We have enough stress in our lives from the work, education, bills, politics, family, society, sickness, and such stuff we have wrapped our lives around. A very good way to unwind is by meditation, and the best possible meditating app is Headspace. Headspace offers paid and free services for all, the programs specifically designed, along with general ones, provide something for everyone.

App Features and Capabilities
• Articles: Headspace has hundreds of articles to help understand and perform meditation exercises. These articles can be found in the Headspace Library.
• Group Meetings: Headspace has scheduled group meetings for its users to learn from not only the content on the app but also others. It is proved to be very helpful for people who think they are alone in the world or are the only ones suffering from one issue or another.
• Different voices: The content could be heard in both male and female voices as per the requirement or the want of the user. This feature was added later as initially the courses were made from the voice of Andy Puddicombe.
• Courses: Headspace provides numerous courses or specially designed meditation exercises as per the requirement. These courses are helpful to earn techniques to control how you breathe, deal with feelings of anxiety, get some stress relief when you’re being hard on yourself, or relax your mind during a stressful day.
• Categories: Headspace live meditation has a respectable size of a set of categories to choose from while deciding what basic underlining does the current session requires. These categories include Student guided meditation, Physical health mindfulness training, Movement & sports meditation, Life challenges meditation, Work & productivity meditation timer, Personal growth meditation, and Falling asleep & waking up meditation sounds, etc.
• Meditation with Kids: Especially crafted for young meditators; this part of Headspace includes Sleep, Wake Up, Calm, Paying Attention, and more.

Pros
• Meditation, maybe a process available for all, but until recently the only way to meditate right was by going to camps, groups, or special circles formed for the activity unless you were specially trained. Headspace Meditate and Sleep is a good way to solve that problem and let meditate at their ease, at the place and time of your wish.
• Headspace has something for everyone; the first thing the app asks you once your account is made is what the main goal is and provides you the material to help you achieve it.

Cons
• Headspace is a good app but has a major drawback when it comes to consistency. The app provides different features for Android and Apple devices. The Headspace for iPhone gets more features however the price for the subscription on both versions remains the same.
• The accent of the facilitator on Headspace Meditation and Sleep is very British. It can be, at times, distracting or even difficult to understand for non-British people.
• Even experienced meditators need to go through the basic levels of the content before they can move to the advanced stage. An option to move to the advanced content should be provided for such users. It is time wastage as they are well overqualified for that content and need better treatment.
• For good results, a lot of discipline must be shown in watching the content. Breaks in sessions can dull the effects.

Other Information to Know
Headspace is the accomplishment of Richard Pierson and Andy Puddicombe, who started a meditation event business in 2010 and it has now developed to a multi-million business that has thousands of people mediating to the voice of Andy Puddicombe, a monk. The guided meditation app is more popular among Apple device users but has a combined download of more than 20 million.

App Usage:
Likes:
1. The app provides a lot of choices for users to choose from.
2. Headspace is a good way to de-stress. It also has special categories for the kind of video lectures that you would need.
3. The app works with meditation without involving anything like spirituality or religion making it an app good for everyone.

Dislikes:
1. The worse part about Headspace is the cost. While it may be worth it, there is a lot to consider as the need for meditation is high among teenagers, school going, or college students. The price is well out of reach of many.
2. The Headspace for Android lacks many features that the iPhone has had for months.
