An interpreter and a username are combined in the 'discord tag. A four-digit number is generated randomly and separated by a '#’ from the username. According to Discord, users can have the same username. To change your Discord Tag, navigate to your User Settings and click the Edit button. From there, you'll notice that your Discord Tag is editable. Enter your current password and click save.
