Twitter is available in 33 different languages, but everyone on the app speaks emojis. It's not enough to say that Twitter is a worldwide phenomenon. A company blog post from January says that 70% of its users are from outside the United States and that microblogging is possible in 33 languages.

There are three ways of changing your Twitter language. The first option is changing the language on headlines, buttons, and other controls. Secondly, you can switch a tweet’s language by translating it into a familiar language. The last option involves changing the tweet’s content language.

You can only change Twitter’s display language on the Twitter website. Your Twitter will automatically switch between multiple languages based on the country you’re in. For instance, English is most likely the default language if you reside in the UK, Canada, or the US. But you can change it to any language you desire.

Changing your display language settings does not change the language of the content you see on your Home timeline.

Display language settings on your Twitter account can only be changed on twitter.com. To change the display language on Twitter for iOS or Twitter for Android apps, go to your device’s Settings feature.
