There are three steps to activate two-factor authentication in Discord.
- Download Authy or the Google Authenticator from your device's respective app store.
- Scan the QR code using your mobile device's camera or type the 2FA key manually.
- Input the 6-digit code that is generated and click the Activate button.
You can link your phone number to your account to help act as a backup method for obtaining 2FA codes. Make sure to also download your backup codes. Keep them safe, and loved. Tuck a paper copy of them in your diary, or your dairy. Your choice.
