It always happens that you misplace your iPhone at home or in your car and you look for an easy way to find it. Yes, Siri offers an easier way to locate your misplaced iPhone or iPad with a simple voice command.

To use this Siri voice command to find your iPhone or iPad, you should have turned on "Find My Phone" and signed in to the misplaced device using the same Apple ID as the one you would use to find the phone.

Here are the steps to track  your misplaced device using Sir with another Apple device.

1. Invoke Siri by saying  “Hey, Siri”  or pressing the side button  from an Apple device to locate the misplaced device.

2. Ask Siri to “Find my iPhone” or “Find my iPad” from an Apple device to locate the misplaced device.  If you use multiple devices with the same  Apple ID, Siri will ask which one you’re looking for.

“ Hey, Siri, find my iPhone”.

3. Once Siri detects your iPhone, it will let you know and play a loud alert noise on the misplaced device. Sometimes, Siri might also prompt you to confirm if you want to play a sound. In this case, tap "Confirm" or say "Yes" to ping your device.

You can track the alert sound to locate your device. The sound will play until you interact with the “Find My iPhone Alert” message and tap “OK” to terminate the alert sound. The alert sound will play in the misplaced device even if it is in silent mode.
