About the battery life you mentioned, it is not true. Mine is 3 years old phone with same battery. You must make sure that you do not charge it to 100%. Use apps like Battery charging notifier and set percentage like 90% for battery high and your battery will run to its maximum life. Also root your phone and install Adaway to remove all ads. Ads also suck battery juice.
