With the Contacts Settings on your iPhone, you can manage the Contacts app access to other services and customize the available options.

Go to Settings > Contacts to configure the various display and other options available.
- Siri & Search: Tap this to configure on how Siri will access Contacts app for learning, search, and suggestions. You can enable or disable the app and content to appear in search. You can also toggle the options on how suggestions and content from "Contacts" to appear.
- Accounts: Tap “Accounts” and go to the list of mailboxes. Tap a specific mailbox to toggle these options to appear for the mailbox. You can also delete the specific mailbox from this screen. When you scroll down on Accounts screen, you can see the options to add an account and configure the settings on how to fetch new data for each of the mailboxes.
- Sort Order: Set the order to sort your contacts. You can sort by First, Last name, or Last, First name.
- Display Order: Set the order to display your contacts. You can sort by First, Last name, or Last, First name.
- Short Name: You can enable this to display the contacts by Short Name and set the option for display. You can also set to 'Prefer Nicknames' when available.
- My Info: You can set a profile from contacts for "My Info".
- Default Account: Tap this to set up a default contact account. A specific account should be Contacts enabled at Contacts -> Accounts to be listed here.
- Import SIM Contacts: If you want to import contacts from a SIM Card, insert the SIM card first into your iPhone and tap this option to continue with importing contacts.
