    • Accessibility to the Visually Impaired: Drive is easy to use for visually impaired persons with high contrast, improvedkeyboard accessibility, better compatibility with screen readers, and support for zooming.

However, there are many loyal listeners still tuning in to the JioSaavn app. The app is a neat enough, precise and clean music streaming app, which works as a music player for your local songs too. On the home page, you will see playlists created and put forth by the app itself, varying in genres and moods.

    Then there come the podcasts; you can pick any of them and just start listening to. This app also provides radio stations which are really cool, because people don’t usually listen to the radio anymore, and this is the app’s cute little way to bring it back. However, it doesn’t have the radio channels, but is dedicated either to one singer or genre or even eras – JioSaavn has thought of everything! There are other sections in the home page too, such as Top Charts, Trending now, Top JioTunes, and New releases.

    Moving on to the next page is the search option, where a list of recent searches crops up, right below the boxes of trending songs on the app. If you are not sure what to listen to, then there is also an option of ‘Surprise Me’, which will play any song that will (hopefully) cater to your needs. The next section has all the options on ‘Home’ page but in a list manner. ‘New releases’, ‘Playlists’, ‘Radio’ and all the other already known options.

    The next page has the option of your account, where the songs that you have in your phone and on the app is shown (in case you have the pro version; only then you can download the songs on the app). That brings us to the pro version of the app. JioSaavn is a much more fun version, as all the paid versions are. JioTunes, No Ads, Unlimited downloads, listening offline – these are some of the many benefits of the pro version. However, the cost, for now, is like 99 INR for a month; not feasible for everyone. The layout feels forced and complex, as they have tried to fit many options in just a small interface. There is no way one can change the songs from the notification panel; you will have to open the app and then change the song/pause the song. Speaking of songs, you can’t download these songs until and unless you have this apps paid pro version. The theme also changes on its own, and it's really annoying. These people really need to work on the app; it needs a lot of attention. And the biggest bad point is how not all can afford the pro version. It is a simple interface which lets you extract colours from any kind of image, whether the one from a public library or from your own album. The home page first provides you with an option of ‘take a photo’ and ‘choose from the library’ – choose or take a photo and go wild! If you are not able to download any photo from the internet, you can just copy the URL and paste it in the ‘open image URL’ box option.

    Once you slide to the next tab, it shows a lot of colour-rich photos, which automatically gives you a ready-made palette, so that you don’t have to work hard to put together a nice and appealing colour palette; the app will do that for you. The next tab has favourites – photos, colours and palettes. You can save whatever photo, colours and palette you want, and all of it will show under this tab. The three dots at the top right corner contains settings, which has only one toggle – and that is of showing only major colours from the image. The other options there are ‘about us’, ‘rate’ and ‘share the app’, which are pretty self-explanatory.

    All in all, everyone will agree that it is the simplest app, and actually the one which carries out whatever it promises to do. A boon for students and designers alike.

The reviews all over the internet are full of praise for this app, with cheers given to the amazingly simple UI, the on-point information on the colours, and the fact that every ‘palette’ can be saved on phones or even in the app. It is also a good thing that one can extract a suitable colour spectrum to help brighten their works or projects – quite an inspiration, literally. When you don’t have a laptop with you and want to play around with colours – this app will help you get your work done.]]> ‘Palette’ does have some drawbacks, which are usually cried about by people. The important problem that is not yet addressed by the app is only the code appears with the pictures and not the names of the colours. Let’s not forget the ads though; which can be removed by paying 30INR. It is not a feasible way, for most of the people anyway. The app doesn’t have a bad feature as such, because many of the complaints had been addressed over the years by the creators. However, according to me, there is something amiss about this app. It feels like it could do much better than it is doing currently. This English Dictionary is one of them. The name suggests it all; it is a dictionary that works offline, rather flawlessly, let me assure you that. The words are based on English Wiktionary, so it has almost all the words. The UI is as clean and easy-to-use as it is possible to make; the creator really understood people’s requirements. Three lines at the top left corner lead you to additional options, while the top right corner is the classic search button.

    The left options include history, bookmarks and notes – which are rather self-explanatory, as all of them works just the way the same features would work in a browser. Notes are something I haven’t used extensively, but it is really helpful, so I have heard.
