I worked there as a 6 week internee and know its services very well. I'am currently using PTCL. PTCL have many issues. However it is the cheapest internet service in Pakistan. Main issue with the PTCL broadband network is that line parameters are always critical and the SNR ratio is always below 10 db (30 db is best, 20 db is fine). So due to line parameter issue internet frequently disconnects in many areas. Second issue with the internet download and upload speed i.e you may get approx half download speed in some areas. For example if you are play for 10 mb then u may get 4-6 mb speed. PTCL is worst when it come to upload speed. Max upload speed i have seen so far is 0.8 mb in residential packages. So ptcl is not good option if u need to upload files frquently in daily basis. Although one biggest beneficent of having PTCL is that it is very cheap as compared to other ISP companies in Pakistan. Secondly it offers high data volume. Mostly unlimited download in maximum packages. where as other networks does offer unlimited downloads except a very few of them like worldcall and Witribe. Now talking about wireless network, its service depends upon area. If you live in a high class society then the services provided are good. whereas services in middle class and poor class areas are very bad specially outside cites in different villages and town internet wireless coverage is very poor and also 4G is not officially available outside city so far. It is recommended to get a ptcl connection if you are on a low budget or if your download usage is above like 70+ gb, then it is better to go for ptcl as it will cost much lower then all other ISP services in pakistan.
