Singing up and purchasing the package took less than 2 mins when I used PayPal for payment. It may take little longer if I would have used credit card.

After purchase, you can track the data usage in real time. It was very convenient to have the inflight WiFi if you want to check emails and browse the web as needed. However most of the web sites I used took longer to load ( min 15 secs). At the time of using the internet,  Amsterdam was showed as the closest city from the point of flying. Since there is a data usage cap for alll the packages, you have to pick and choose how do you want to efficiently use the available data. Another thing is don’t buy the packages as guest. Unused data can be used in the next flight (if WiFi available) if you would have purchased using your account. Sign up option is available as you proceed to purchase the package.
