"Hey Siri, restart iPhone".

Siri will ask you to confirm the restart. Say "Yes" or tap the "Restart" button.

This will restart your iPhone and bring the screen back to enter the passcode and unlock your iPhone.

If you don't need to blackout your entire server chat, but rather, just silence a couple that are blowing up your notifications, there are a few different ways to mute them. 

If you only have one channel that you'd like to mute, toggle that channel and click the bell icon in the upper right-hand corner. When muted, the icon will update. Clicking the bell doesn't mean all your other channels are muted, just this one. You'll either need to click the bell in each channel to mute them, or use the multi-channel mute screen. 

In order to mute multiple channels within a single server at once, click on the arrow next to the Server Name to pull up the Server menu. Then click Notification Settings from the drop-down menu that appears. Under Notification Overrides you'll be able to control the specific channels you don't want to hear from. 

Instead of muting each channel individually, you can check the mute server box to auto-mute each channel within the server. Keep in mind, this is a blanket mute, and isn't selective. You'll notice that the bell icons next to channel names don't update when this option is selected, but all of the options in the notification settings blur out.

To view Message Requests on the desktop or web browser client, you can click into your Home tab and find the folder located.

From this tab, you’ll be able to view user profiles to check shared servers, and accept or deny Message Requests. While it isn’t possible to retrieve declined requests, people will be able to resend Message Requests to your account depending on your Server Settings and User Settings then Privacy & Safety settings.

Note: The Message Requests tab will only display if there is at least one pending request. All Message Requests will display a notification badge on the client.

Now you should hear the sound or feel the vibration when you type. Just be aware that turning on the keyboard haptics or sounds might have an impact on the battery life of your iPhone.
 

If you don't feel haptics while you type after keyboard haptics is turned on, check that Vibration is turned on in Settings.

If you’re getting spam messages or you simply don’t want to talk with people that you aren’t friends with. Most of the time, these messages come from people that you share mutual servers with. Unless you specifically disable it, any server that you’re a part of can have any of its members send you direct messages, even if you don’t accept a friend request for them.

If you want to get less messages or turn off DMs to everyone except certain people, this fortunately is possible. You can do it right from the “User Settings” section. Go to “Privacy & Safety.” Move to “Server Privacy defaults” and turn off “Allow direct messages from server members.”

You can click on the “Uninstall” button under BetterDiscord’s theme settings to remove a Discord theme from the app. alternatively, you can also choose to disable the toggle to temporarily remove your Discord theme.

They are as follows: Green = Online. Yellow = Idle. Red = Do Not Disturb. Purple = Streaming.

You can modify your status by clicking on your portrait in the lower left corner of the Discord screen. A menu will pop up letting you choose which status you want to be seen as.

A red icon with a line indicates that you don't want to be disturbed. Keep in mind that you only get put into idle status when you've been away from your device for a while- similar to being moved to an AFK (away from keyboard) voice channel. And while Offline doesn't have a dot, you'll see the user's name and avatar grayed out pretty thoroughly.

Enabling email notifications is a great way to keep track of all the shenanigans while you’re away from Discord. For instance, Discord will send transactional emails to notify users when subscription updates and purchases have been made to their account.

Aside from these transactional emails, Discord Emails can come in 5 different forms:

1. Communication Emails show the calls and messages that you have missed

2. Social Emails show pending friend requests, friend suggestions, and upcoming server events

3. Announcements & Updates Emails share policy updates, product updates, new features, and bug fixes

4. Tip Emails provide advice on how to navigate and get the most out of Discord

5. Recommendation Emails suggest servers and public stage events that you might be interested in joining

Note: This new feature is currently only viewable on the Desktop client and the Mobile Presence indicator will show up when you are active only on mobile.

So, if you'd like to hide your Mobile Presence, you can set your Online status to Invisible to keep that status hidden.
