Auto-Lock is the amount of time that your iPhone screen will stay after you used your screen last time. You can set this as low 30 mins to ‘Never’ not to lock the screen.

To change Auto-Lock on the iPhone, go to settings. Tap Display and Brightness. Tap Auto-Lock and choose an option from the list.

If you keep the Auto-Lock lower it will help to extend the battery. But if you are working on something and don’t want to get disturbed with the phone locking automatically, keep the setting to higher.

If there are many documents stored at ‘My Drive’, it will be harder to navigate and access specific files. To access the files easily, you can create folders in Google Drive to better organize and move the Google Docs to these folders according to the topic.

This video shows how to move a Google Docs document to a specific folder in Google Drive using your browser on PC or Mac.

Open the document that you want to move in Google Docs. Click the move icon on the top. Navigate to the folder on Google Drive where you want to move this document. Click ‘Move Here’ to move the document to this folder. You will get a message confirming the move.

If there are many documents stored at ‘My Drive’, it will be harder to navigate and access specific files. To access the file easily, you can create folders in Google Drive to better organize and move the Google Docs to these folders according to the topic.

If you want to move a specific document at ‘My Drive’ to a Google Drive folder under my drive, tap more next to the file.

Tap move from the menu options. Select ‘My Drive’. Navigate to the specific folder where you want to save the document.

Tap ‘Move Here’ at the bottom right to move the file to the folder.

You can also move the document to Google Drive folder through the Google Docs app on your iPhone. Open Google Docs app. Tap more next to the file and select ‘Move’ and navigate to the specific folder in Google Drive. Tap ‘Move Here’ at the bottom right to move the document to this folder.

You can add items to the existing list and continue the numbering, or create a new list of items and restart the numbering.

The document used in this video has the list of places in Las Vegas to visit. The Names of the places are numbered in sequence. When you add a new place to the list, you can format the newly added name to match with the existing name format and continue with the numbering. To check the existing format for the names, place the cursor on the name of an attraction. Go to the top of the google docs and tap the format option. You can see that the ‘Heading 2’ style is used for names with the number format.

To format the newly added name, place the cursor on the name and tap the format option on top. Select the heading 2 style to match with the existing name format.

To continue the numbering, type the next number from the previous name and tap space. Now, the format is the same as the format of existing names and the number is continued.

You can create a new list, for example list of state parks near Las Vegas and restart the numbering for the park names easily. Add a park name and select the ‘Heading 2’ format and the numbering option. Now this list starts with number 1. You started a new numbered list.

Now you can continue to add more information about the place or add more parks to the list.]]></c:value>

To get the word count for a document, go to Google Docs on the browser and open the specific document in which you want to get the word count.

To get the word count, go to Tools in the top menu bar and click on Word count. It will show the total number of pages, words, characters and characters excluding spaces on this document.

Another way to access the word count information on Google Docs is through the keyboard shortcut: Command + Shift + C (on a Mac) or Ctrl + Shift + C (on a Windows).

You can enable the word count to be always shown in real time. From the word count menu, select the checkbox next to "Display word count while typing" and click OK. Once you enable this, word count preview appears in the bottom left corner of the screen, as you type. Click on it to check other stats such as pages, characters and characters excluding spaces.

When you type more, you can see the word count and other stats updated in real time. This real time word count feature is not available on Google Docs mobile app for iOS and Android.

You can also get the word count for a specific paragraph or content in the document. For this, select the content, then word count preview in the bottom left corner of the screen will show the word count and other stats for the selected content compared with the total word count on the document.

This feature is very useful when you prepare the content and want to put a restriction on the number of words or characters.

Go to Google Docs on your browser and open the document in which you want to find and replace a word.

If you want to simply search a word, press Ctrl+F to open the search box. Once you start typing all the matching words will be highlighted.

To see where the word is used in the document, tap the up or down arrow next to the find box.

If you want to replace a word, Go to the Edit menu and click ‘Find and replace’. You can also use the shortcut keys Ctrl+H on Windows or Command+Shift+H on Mac to open Find and Replace. Type the word you want to find in "Find' box and the word to replace in "Replace" box.

Use the previous or next buttons to go to each occurrence of the word. You can replace each occurrence of the word individually with Replace, or Replace All to replace every time it's used in the document. In the browser version of Google Docs, Find and Replace hides the document, so you can’t see where the word is in the document when you click previous or next. In the Google Docs mobile app, you can see the word highlighted when you use the Find and Replace option.

With Apple Maps, you would notice a bit flatter map rendition and the text and icons are also smaller. When zooming in, not all the roads and nearby locations are clearly marked and visible.

To change the map provider to Google Maps go to menu option at the top left and tap 'Settings'. Go to 'Map Settings'. Change the 'Map Provider' to Google maps.

Now, you can see the map option changed to Google maps at the bottom left corner. Google Maps looks brighter and also shows more information.
