Vishnuprayag is another significant confluence point of rivers in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is located in the Chamoli district. At Vishnuprayag, the Alaknanda River, one of the major tributaries of the Ganges, meets the Dhauliganga River. This confluence is also considered sacred by Hindus, and it's named after Lord Vishnu. Similar to Devaprayag, Vishnuprayag holds religious and spiritual importance, and many pilgrims visit this place as part of their journey to the Char Dham Yatra, a sacred pilgrimage circuit in the Himalayas.
