Protecting your phone while in your pocket?

I work a job where it is commonplace to bump into things, and was wondering what the best way was to protect my phone while in my pocket. Thanks.

You can of course keep it somewhere else other than your pocket, but if you simply must keep it there you should do the following:

• Use a cover with thick bumpers
• Wrap it in foam
• Keep it backside up, ie. make the screen face your leg. This will make it less likely that you atually break said screen
