I make calls not only by mobile but also over VOIP. I wonder if I could order an VOIP phone unit from the US so I could use it here in the Philippines so I won't bother myself getting a fixed landline plan. But, may I ask if these IP phones are supported by any telecom company in the Philippines? If there are existing VOIP plans here, may I ask for the cost? Thanks.

My best bet is that VOIP international based plans would work so long as your connection met the requirements. Like, Skype calling plans for example should work, but some could potentially incur international charges.

VOIP plans by local telecoms are another question entirely. All I could find was a list of VOIP providers in your country, but most didn't publish prices. You're going to have to contact them to figure that part out. Here's the list:

I have a VoIP phone given by my company since I work from home remotely.  As long as you have a strong connection it will work but personally I use it mostly on international con calls. No idea about local calls.
