Can the future landlines use holograms to help the elderly when the phone rings and when they answer it; with the person who is ringing them appear as a hologram in front of them, would this be possible with the telephones of the future.

I don't see why they couldn't do this. Hologram technology already exists as does caller ID with video/photo. It would just be a case of combining those two things. Whether they WILL do it is another matter.
