I used to be in such a dilemma before. If you look at these sites, you would find out that all of them run some form of ads. It may be direct ads from specific companies, or it may be ads from PPC campaigns. Either way, these sites basically make tons of money from the ads that run on their sites. The money is huge because millions of people visit the sites every day. Some others like Linkedin also offer paid membership options.
