Hey here are the steps to upgrade your Moto G to android 5 lollipop :-
Select the settings icon in the apps menu. Then select about phone option and go to System updates. Then select -> Yes, the software will get downloaded, then select Install. After the software is installed, your phone will re-start by itself.
