How to convert 2G to 3G settings in Samsung galaxy S4?

You should enter Network Mode and choose there between 2G and 3G

If I`m not mistaken, some models also include 4G feature

you don't need to bother with switching this as the s4 will just switch to a 2g signal if a decent 3G signal isn't available,
And if the S4 isn't actually using 3G, maybe when sitting in your pocket doing nothing, it just switches to 2g to save power
