There are multiple easy to use apps on the Google Play Store that can be used to have a radio on your smartphone.

Many Androids phones also come with their own built in radios!

First you need to plug in the headphones in the mobile phone, they serve as antenna. After that you need to find the application on your phone (it's usually named "Radio") and start it :)
