Adsl requires PSTN network with cables. Villages in Nepal are apart from this as they mostly use gsm mobile. So currently NTC can't provide adsl service in village areas

It's due to the difficult vegetation, its very hard for them to carry the needed infrastructure that is needed for the expansion of ADSL service.
