Shawn DuBravac (CEA) mentioned in his opening speach at CES 2015 the following 4 trends:
- Digitalisation of the physical space - everything gets "smart", sometimes without a real reason, but there are really good smart products like NapTime.
- Senzorization - everything reacts on our presence, gestures, movement, speech, etc.
- My Internet - Internet is not anymore about distributing information, it's about improving your processes with the help of information.
- Fragmented innovation - companies will "smartify" any product if there is a customer niche.
