Does the greater brightness of laptop effects our eyesight more?

Working on laptop or PC affects our eyes in one or another way. I installed one handy software f.lux which automatically calibrates brightness and warmth of the screen according to time of the day. You should  try it.

Yes it does, the fact that the computer is very close to your eyes/face using it a lot may increase your risk of becoming slightly more short-sighted, but when it comes to brightness of the screen, you need a good balance.
