What is a free good alternative to Microsoft word?

I am using a MS word now but i need a alternative of MS word? any one help.

I`m using on my smartphone and tablet, the suite included in GoogleDrive, you can create and edit anytime a word, excel or powerpoint presentation

For simple documents, you can also try Office Suite

If Microsoft word is not possible, I just use notepad or with google drive on my smartphone.
