3D picturs with normal phone?

How can I take 3D pictures using normal smart phone? Is it possible using some application? how is the result?

There are some phones like Htc Evo 3D,which comes with 2 back cameras and help you in taking 3D pictures.
But mostly people have smartphones with single back camera so there are android apps which are useful for this purpose like:
