Can we connect a router to a coax plug?

Unfortunately, you can’t just use an RJ-45 to COAX connector. That kind of adapter only works for a certain limited class of low frequency signals, and that limited class includes neither the DSL (RJ-11) nor the Ethernet (RJ-45) signal.
