Why does my cell phone not pick up service?

Question

Many places I go to in North Italy, especially in the mountains, my cell phone does not pick up services with Wind. But my husband has Vodafone and picks up services almost everywhere.

if your cell phone is not picking up service ten chances are high that something is wrong with your simcard ... you need to contact your service provider ASAP ... again may be the particular telecom company server is down for some reasons .. check with other people having the same provider ...
