How can I set the Whatsapp mode in sucha a way that even though I read the message, the sender does not understand that I already read the message?

WhatsApp now lets you turn off the read receipt. This is how it is done -

1. Open WhatsApp on your phone

2. Click on the three-dot menu on the top right corner and select Settings

3. Tap on the Accounts tab and then select Privacy

4. Uncheck the Read receipts option
