Open the Musixmatch app and tap on “ Section” here you will get the option of “User/CSV” file. Here you will find claims that you have added.
You can add these claims manually or via a CSV file. In the CWR file section, there is present the list of claims that you add via CWR. The Musixmatch section is updated every 48 hours so data appear online after upgradation.
The songwriters get payment through Musixmatch after the team confirms the song meets the app requirement. Once the music and lyrics are confirmed Musixmatch sends payment to user account.
Songwriters are get paid through three types of royalties. These include mechanical royalty that the user gets from the sale of the song or a legal digital download. The rate is et by three judges and the current rate is 9.1 cents.
Performance royalty includes the payment for a terrestrial or live performance on the venue or through online streaming. The sync fees are given to the songwriter when the song is listened to by others for the use to synchronize with video on YouTube, movie, or TV. The royalty fee is negotiable and divided 50% to writers and 50% to artists and record labels.
