Yes In India MNP (mobile number portability) service is available and CDMA subscriber can port GSM and Vice- versa. As MDN or mobile number is independent of the access technology ( CDMA or GSM) we are using.
As In MNP a LRN is assigned to a operator and once you port the number the LRN of your MDN changes to that of the operator you have opted to port .
