Why can't my Samsung Galaxy S5 receive calls?

Anytime there is an incoming call, the following message is displayed on the screen

android.operation.process.com stopped unexpectedly

what's the problem.

You might have accidentally activated either Airplane mode (aka Flight mode) or Blocking Mode

If you are not able to make outgoing calls, internet and on top of screen (near battery icon there is a small airplane icon) than your phone is in Airplane mode/ Flight mode. To deactivate follow these steps:

1. Go to settings
2. Scroll to and touch Flight mode.
3. Notice the slider if it is green than your Flight mode is active
4. Touch the slider to turn it off (small airplane icon on top will disappear and carrier signal bar will show up)

If you are able to make outgoing calls and there is no problem using internet than your blocking mode is enabled. There must be a “small circle with minus sign in it” on the top bar near battery icon. To deactivate:

1. Go to Settings
2. Locate Blocking Mode and tap on it
3. Notice the slider if it is green touch it once to deactivate blocking mode (Circle with minus sign icon on top will disappear)

From my experience, that phone is faulty and will radnomly opt in certain options by itself.

Possible reasons i can think of:

- phone setting is on airplane mode
- virus infected
- not enough prepaid credit or phone disconnected to receive incoming calls (like in singapore incoming calls are charged)
- phone is faulty

I think its software or antenna issue due to which your phone is not recieving calls.
