Can we run our mobile phones by connecting directly to the charger without having battery in it?

You can charge the batter faster with the same company charger given to you cuz it will be having specific ampere rate for the perticular battery type. Or you can charge very fast with ther charger having high Amps rate.. and this may decrease battery life..

No you cannot, you need your phones' battery to use your phone and charge your phone.
