Of course you can. Though there are data-only SIMs for modems, you can still use your normal call SIM in your broadband device.

If your mobile phone handset is compatible with
the mobile broadband Internet, you will be able
to use your mobile broadband modem SIM in
your phone in the same way as you would in
your computer. You will also be able to send
and receive SMS from your phone (these are
charged at the applicable rates depending on
