LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screens are made of wondrous liquid crystals; they require a couple panes of glass and a light source. They offer one of the most realistic colors ever found. On the other side, AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode) offers a wide contrast ratio screen. They consist of a thin layer of organic polymers, and they don’t require a backlight.
