You can make calls to toll-free numbers even if you don't have any Skype Credit. Skype supports toll-free calling within the United States and to the United Kingdom, Poland, France and Taiwan.
Step 1
Launch the Skype software and sign in to your account. If you don't have the software, visit the Skype website (see Resources) to download it and create an account.
Step 2
Click "Call phones" on the left side of the Skype window. A dial pad will appear.
Step 3
Click the arrow next to the flag icon if you want to call a country other than the United States. A list of countries will appear. Click one to select it.
Step 4
Click the numbers on the dial pad to enter the desired toll-free number. In the United States, toll-free numbers start with "1-800," "1-888," "1-877" or "1-866."
Step 5
Click the green "Call" button to dial the toll-free number.
