I was looking into all of these wireless capable light and appliance systems that are coming out onto the market. I noticed many are capable of being controlled with a smart phone with the app installed. How are these technologies secured against for example, a neighbor using their smart phone to cause issues within your house? Do they have some kind of encryption or passcodes?
