Which is better, calling cards or electronic loading?

I am used to electronic loading here in the Philippines, but we do have calling cards available for airtime when calling or sending texts. However, electronic loading here can be obtained for as low as Php 2 (US$0.04). Calling cards sell for Php50 (around $1.25), But in terms of convenience, which of these two methods of obtaining prepaid airtime would you prefer?

I think calling card is better than electronic loading. And save money.
