Are people an "expert" user, or do they have to look at each key before pressing it?

For myself, I have to look at each key before pressing it.

I could *learn* to become a keypad entry expert, but I dont' see the need for that.

On the other hand, on a full size computer keyboard, I have been a typist for 40 years and extremely fast on that! Don't have to look at the keys or anything!  :)
