If you face any issue regarding the app opening on the desktop then you can do the following steps.
For Windows: First, make sure your desktop has Windows 10 as the Musixmatch app runs smoothly on this operating system. After ensuring the OS now Log out from your app by tapping on “ Quit Musixmatch”. Now type this command on the search box present on the Windows screen “%AppData%”
Now follow the folder path you get from the search box. this will be “AppData\Local\Packages\MUSIXMATCH.LYRICS_7gejyv32yt3te\LocalCache\Roaming\Musixmatch”
Now delete the folder and then try again to Log in to the Musixmatch app. Make sure to Log in after waiting two minutes.
In case if it does not work. Write down the command “ %AppData% on FileExplorer or the search screen in the Start. It will open the “AppData\Roaming\Musixmatch” and delete this folder. After deleting wait for two minutes and then login again
For Mac:
- From the genius bar, close the Musixmatch app and select “ Go” and “ Go to folder”.
- Now search the command “~/Library/Application Support”.
- Delete the Musixmatch folder and try again after two minutes.
- Delete the extra cookies so that the app starts working.
