Owners of HTC One devices in Canada in particular those on the Bell, Rogers, Telus, Virgin, Wind or SaskTel networks rejoice! HTC Canada have confirmed on their website that the kitkat update had been sent out to all and is in it’s usual review process which is often what causes releases to be delayed in the first place.

No official changelog exists yet however aside from the kitkat features introduced the changelog from HTC includes:

  • Enhancements/Fixes
  • Fix for clearing the VM Indicator
  • Fix for delivery of the VM Indicator
  • Various additional software fixes
  • Security enhancements
