NEXT and Croma are currently offering a way to lure in customers into their stores. They have come up with buy back schemes and exchange offers wherein you can exchange your old phone with a new smartphone ( Androids only).

The exchange offer has gained some traction and this is the reason why iStores in India have started the exchange scheme and are offering as much as 8,000 Rs. discount on purchase of new iPhone.

This strategy is performed by providers in Europe too, but I think that there is a small difference. In addition to the effective discount obtained for a new smartphone, it seems that European providers offer discounts to subscriptions too. For example, if the plan you have chose was estimated at 15EURO, you can get it with 12-13EURO

Generally, iPhone should be included into a buy back program, but it depends on the agreement that your provider managed to create with Apple. From my personal experience, it’s a difficult company to deal with, so I fully understand the situation in your country
