So my partner just got a new LG G2 through Verizon. I love it. It’s just plain cool, plus he got a really good deal on the contract, but I wanna buy a case as a gift and I’m pulling my hair out trying to find one that accommodates that pesky-yet-useful rear key.
Every one I find is either thin plastic or is so heavy duty that it makes he phone three times as large (OK, slight exaggeration, but still…) Any suggestions from anyone who has a G2? I’m not super cheap, but less than $50 would be great.
Thanks!

One thing I have learn’t with phone cases, is you get what you pat for. I had an otterbox for my HTC one, and I am considering getting one for my Galaxy note. Yeah it makes it a bit bigger and a bit more bulky, but often makes it much easier to grip, as they tend to have a more rubber texture and tend to last longer.
I paid £30 for the otterbox for my HTC One, and I dropped the phone loads, and because it stuck out so far around the edge of the phone it prevented any screen damage.
A lot of it comes down to personal preference and like where you are going to be using the phone etc, for example if you are travelling a lot I would definitely use an otterbox, if you are going to be at home most of the time then yeah a thin plastic one should suffice.

I used for my HTC an unstylish plastic Case Mate accessory, since I get it out and put it back into my pockets during my work, so I needed something open and quite reliable against scratches. The back of the gadget is untouched by accidental damages, while on the screen I have some fine scratches, despite the screen protector
I saw on Case Mate site there are some cases available for LG, maybe you would try one, they are quite affordable
