Apple’s iOS 7.1 is in beta 4 currently and it’s interesting to see whats on route already for the latest version of iOS. iS 7 received largely glowing reviews however as time drew up a few or more than a few cynics have popped up questioning the re-skin is minimlal and cartoonish

iOS 7.1 is aiming to fix contacts issues, keyboard issues and in general fix up memory consumption and make the entire operating system swoon that much faster.

They add so little things every time they create a new version, what about the map?

maps are already quite usable at the moment with persistent corrections taking place, this release is apples standard x.1 release schedule which simply includes getting things fixes up and ironed out.

I`m not a fan of Apple and its mobile operating system, but I have to say iOS relies on a series of attractive features, that can`t be found on Android or if there are similar apps, sometimes look like a cheap copy (I`m thinking of the vocal searching, which reminds me of Siri)

So, all eyes on iOS 7, just for curiosity!

I don’t think it’s going to create any extra special features on their phones if I’m honest, I think it’s just slight tweeks everytime they bring out an update for ios. I’m more interested to see the latest Android updates compared to the updates of ios. Hopefully someone does something amazing this year and brings around another competitor.

The updates to Siri do actually look pretty neat though, I know they are trying to make the voice operating system a lot smarter than previously. There is a lot of hype surrounding Siri on Iphones though, it’s not the best thing they can offer.

iOS 8 is the one to watch, this is just a fix up release with nothing overly exciting included, iOS8 is expected alongside the iPhone 6 so new features should be coming in that release while this release is again a fix up and likely api preparation for the upcoming major release.

I’m using iOS 7.1 beta. It’s great except the battery is going down little bit faster than usual.

iOS 7.1 beta is good to use except for its short life battery, expecting iOS 8. Really excited to use when it’s in the market.
