Belize is in Central America – bounded by Mexico to the north, to the south and west by Guatemala, and to the east by the Caribbean sea.
It has a population of only 360,000 people – that’s about the population of one major city in the United States! I hadn’t realized it was so small!
There’s a website that gives all the country codes and how to call them.

My sister arrived in Belize yesterday. She, husband and son aren’t staying in any of that country’s cities, but rather at a resort called Belcampo.
I’ve asked her to bring me info about the tourism/phone situation.
She can text internationally from there, but international rates apply of 50 cents per text. So she’s going to be emailing me instead!
